Announcing the names of the Black Panthers’ cubs

On Thursday, June 8, 2023, Animal Care told wonderful news. At the only Black Panther couple in the Netherlands, two black cubs came into the world. The mother and cubs are doing well.

The public had a chance to make up the names of the cubs. Through Mondo Verde’s newsletter and social media platforms, the public participated in the name contest. Through this contest, many visitors entered their own invented names. In the end, the Animal Care Department chose the two names for the cubs from the creative list. Our cubs are now called “Koda” and “Kenai”. Nice names, right?
