Decade of Darkness: Halloween The Villains X
It all started 10 years ago… a dark idea, an evening when adults faced their fears head-on and let themselves be carried away by the shadows of Halloween. What started small grew into the most terrifying Halloween event of the year. And this year, it will be more gruesome and exciting than ever: the anniversary edition.
On the evenings of October 24 and 25 (from 7:00 p.m. to 11:55 p.m.), Mondo Verde will be transformed into a realm where darkness reigns. Fear, suspense, and sinister legends await you… As you wander through the night, the attractions will remain open and you can drink yourself brave or fortify yourself with treats (for a fee).

The park is divided into blood-curdling scare zones—each with its own story, each with its own nightmares.

Ten years of darkness calls for a devilish touch. For this anniversary edition, Mondo Verde has been given a grim makeover, full of devilish details and hellish surprises. Do you dare to take part in the darkest anniversary ever?
🎟️ Ticket information
A ticket for Halloween the Villains costs €27.00 per person.
A ticket for House of Terror costs €5.50 per person. Please note: You must purchase a separate ticket for the new haunted house, House of Terror (only in combination with your entrance ticket)!
The box office will be open on October 24 and 25, provided the event is not sold out. The price at the box office is €27.00 per person.
*During the event, access to the event is only possible with a separate ticket. Regular day tickets from Mondo Verde or other Mondo Verde promotions are not valid during the event! As the event takes place outside the park’s regular opening hours, the All You Can Eat concept does not apply.
*Mondo Verde season ticket holders must purchase a separate ticket for this event, as it takes place outside the park’s regular opening hours.
*The scare zones are absolutely not suitable for small children and the recommended age is 16+! We strongly advise against visiting the scare zones with children under the age of 12. These can cause nightmares. We are not liable if you decide to visit these zones with small children.
*The event is organized by an external party, Twilight Fantasy Productions, and takes place outside Mondo Verde’s regular opening hours.
*The event is suitable for disabled visitors. The Mondo Verde car park has disabled parking spaces and is located next to the park entrance. There are paved paths throughout the park and a lift in the Tropical Paradise, which takes you to the top of the hill and the Tuscan Villa. There are also special facilities, such as adapted toilets.
🚗 Parking and directions
Mondo Verde has its own parking lot. This parking lot is subject to a fee. You can purchase a parking token at the box office on the evening of the event. A parking token costs €7.50 per vehicle. Parking is at your own risk.
From Maastricht
Take the A79 Maastricht-Heerlen motorway to the N281 towards Heerlen.
Take the Kerkrade-West exit.
Follow signs for ‘Park Gravenrode’.
After three traffic lights, follow the signs for Mondo Verde.
From Eindhoven/Belgium
Take the A76 Aachen/Heerlen (E314) and the Ten Esschen junction to the N281 Voerendaal/Heerlen. Do not take the Landgraaf exit, but continue to the Kerkrade-West exit. Now follow signs for “Park Gravenrode.” After three traffic lights, follow the signs for Mondo Verde.
From Aachen
Take the motorway to Heerlen and drive to the border crossing. In the Netherlands, follow the signs for Heerlen/Kerkrade. Continue on this road (N281) and take the Kerkrade-West exit. Now follow signs for ‘Park Gravenrode’. After three traffic lights, follow the signs for Mondo Verde.
Please note!
You can also use the N300 outer ring road. This new outer ring road will also take you to Mondo Verde. Follow the signs for N300 and look out for the signs for Mondo Verde to take the correct exit.
Public transport
Take the train to Landgraaf station. From the station, it is a 15-minute walk to Mondo Verde.
You can reach Mondo Verde by bus from bus stations in Heerlen, Eygelshoven, and Kerkrade, among others. For more information, see Arriva. We recommend that you check the correct times for your departure in case of unforeseen changes.

📜 House rules
- Carrying (fake) weapons or other dangerous objects is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove the owner of such items from the premises, possibly in cooperation with the police.
- Masks and unrecognizable makeup/face paint are not permitted.
- Persons who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, or who are in possession of narcotics, or who disturb the peace in any other way, may be refused or denied access without being entitled to compensation.
- Hooliganism and/or vandalism, physical or verbal violence, or other undesirable behavior towards visitors and our staff will not be tolerated. Persons guilty of such behavior will be removed from the premises with the assistance of the police if necessary. If you cause damage, you will be held liable for it.
- Food, drinks, and glassware are not allowed in scare zones and during horror acts.
- The use of flashlights, phones, and laser pointers in the scare zones is prohibited!
- It is not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages and/or drugs to the park. Strict checks will be carried out upon entry.
- Please respect our scare actors and do not touch them.
- Entering the event is entirely at your own risk.
- Photography and filming are not permitted in the scare zones, unless agreed with the organization.
- Parking is at your own risk.
- The organization reserves the right to refuse entry at any time.
- The Mondo Verde Park Regulations also apply during the event!
