Child-friendly Spooky Party: Halloween The Little Villains
As soon as the sun sets and the first stars appear, Mondo Verde transforms into a place full of secrets and magic. The trees whisper, pumpkins start to laugh, and cheerful ghouls come to life… Are you brave enough to join us on the most exciting adventure of the year? On the evening of October 18, 2025, Mondo Verde will transform into a magical place full of mystery and cheerful ghouls.
👻 What can you expect?
The park has several fun zones with different themes and, of course, wonderful photo opportunities. The children will be thrilled by:
- The Bat King’s Jungle
- Little House of Science
- The Creepy Tunnel
- The Witches Forest
- The Star Wars Battle Maze
- The Spooky Graveyard
- The Happy Pumpkins
- “Star Wars” Led show
Of course, a costume party is a must, so come in Halloween style and take part in the costume contest! In addition, the attractions are open, you can enjoy various treats (for a fee), and meet fun creepies.
The event is accessible for people with disabilities. The Mondo Verde parking lot has disabled parking spaces and is located next to the park entrance. There are paved paths throughout the park and an elevator in the Tropical Paradise, which takes you to the top of the hill and the Tuscan Villa. In addition, there are special facilities, such as adapted toilets.

Children aged 0 to 2 years old are free.
From 3 years old, it is €17.50 per person (excluding transaction costs per order).
*Tickets can only be reserved online.
*Everyone attending the event must purchase a ticket. Children aged 0 to 2 years old do not pay for a ticket.
*Participation in “The Little Villains” is for children aged 3 to 12 years old and must be accompanied by a parent(s)/guardian.
*This event falls outside the park’s regular opening hours, which means that season ticket holders must also purchase a ticket.
*During Halloween the Little Villains, the Park Regulations remain in force.
*This event takes place outside the park’s regular opening hours, so the All You Can Eat concept does not apply.

🚗 Parking and route guidance
Mondo Verde has its own parking lot. This parking lot is subject to a fee. You can purchase a parking token at the box office on the evening of the event. A parking token costs €7.50 per car.
From Maastricht
Take the A79 Maastricht-Heerlen motorway to the N281 towards Heerlen.
Take the Kerkrade-West exit.
Now follow signs for “Park Gravenrode.”
After three traffic lights, follow the signs for Mondo Verde.
From Eindhoven/Belgium
Take the A76 Aachen/Heerlen (E314) and the Ten Esschen junction to the N281 Voerendaal/Heerlen. Do not take the Landgraaf exit, but continue until the Kerkrade-West exit. Now follow signs for “Park Gravenrode.” After three traffic lights, follow the signs for Mondo Verde.
From Aachen
Take the motorway to Heerlen and drive to the border crossing. In the Netherlands, follow the signs for Heerlen/Kerkrade. Stay on this road (N281) and take the Kerkrade-West exit. Now follow signs for “Park Gravenrode.” After three traffic lights, follow the signs for Mondo Verde.
Attention!
You can also use the N300 outer ring road. This new outer ring road will also take you to Mondo Verde. Follow the N300 signs and look out for the Mondo Verde signs to take the correct exit.
Public transport
Take the train to Landgraaf station. From the station, it is a 15-minute walk to Mondo Verde.
You can reach Mondo Verde by bus from Heerlen, Eygelshoven, and Kerkrade bus stations, among others. For more information, see Arriva. We recommend that you check the correct times for your departure in case of unforeseen changes.
